Damage repaired. Shape restored. Finish renewed.

Whether the damage is limited to paint and surface gouges or extends to a bent skeg or damaged cavitation plate, we restore the exterior as one continuous repair. Damaged metal is repaired or replaced when appropriate, visible contours are reshaped and smoothed, and the surface is prepared for a consistent, corrosion-resistant finish.

Exterior Damage

Gouges, chips, scrapes, and visible impact damage are rebuilt and smoothed to restore clean exterior contours.

Skeg and Cavitation Plate

Bent or chipped skegs are repaired when suitable, and severely damaged or missing skegs may be replaced with cast blanks. Bent, cracked, or chipped cavitation plates are repaired when appropriate.

Shape and Alignment

Skeg alignment and plate contour are restored to support dependable tracking, clean water flow, and a smooth finished appearance.

Primer, Paint, and Clear Coat

The repaired surface receives zinc phosphate primer, closely matched OEM color, and clear coat when the original paint system allows for it.

From damage to a factory-like finish.

Every repair follows one exterior restoration process, from the initial damage review through final color and protection.

01

Evaluate the Exterior

We review photos and inspect the visible damage to confirm that it fits our cosmetic and exterior repair scope.

02

Repair and Rebuild

Suitable gouges, chips, cracks, bends, and damaged exterior components are repaired. Missing or severely damaged skegs may be replaced when appropriate.

03

Restore Shape and Surface

Contours and alignment are restored, repaired areas are smoothed, and the surface is prepared for primer and paint.

04

Prime, Match, and Protect

We apply zinc phosphate primer for corrosion resistance, match the original color as closely as possible, and add clear coat when compatible.

Cosmetic and exterior repair only.

Our Lower Unit Cosmetic Repair service is limited to cosmetic and exterior work. We do not inspect, diagnose, disassemble, or repair internal mechanical components.

Because internal conditions cannot be verified through cosmetic or exterior repair, all lower unit work is performed at the customer's request and risk regarding any existing or future internal mechanical damage or failure.

Tell us about your lower unit.

Send photos and a short description of the damage. We will review the repair, confirm whether it fits our service scope, and provide the next steps.
